Possible Follow-Up Actions with Elected Officials

After your village board passes the anti-relicensing resolution, it is important that your local elected officials know of other actions they can participate in during this fight to stop a 20-year extension on Indian Point.

Below are possible follow-up actions that the Indian Point Safe Energy Coalition will consider, depending on how events unfold:

• Anti-Relicensing Press conference with elected officials
• Asking state-level elected officials to join them in opposing relicensing
• Co-signing letters to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and other government agencies

IPSEC will contact community organizers if, and when, these actions are needed.
