IPSEC is funded by citizens concerned about the health and safety of the 21 million people living within the 50-mile radius of Indian Point.

IPSEC uses funding in support of its mission including activities such as educating the population via this website, newsletters, public forums, advertising campaigns, fliers, information sheets, posters, yard signs, the toll-free number (1-800-I-SHUT-IT), the IPSEC documentary, Nowhere to Run, and the musical CD, Indian Point Sampler.

IPSEC also uses funds to commission studies on health impacts and traffic congestion.
