“The Hudson: A River at Risk” is a Series of short films by Jon Bowermaster (“Dear Governor Cuomo”) that chronicles three time-sensitive issues affecting our Hudson River – Crude Oil rail transport, building the new Tappan Zee Bridge, and Indian Point – this screening will provide a view of our Hudson that document cause for alarm & exposes the Hudson’s fragility.
An impressive panel is lined-up for post Q&A discussion: State Senator David Carlucci – 38th District; Paul Gallay – President, Riverkeeper; Manna Jo Green – Environmental Action Director, Hudson Sloop Clearwater; and Sacha Spector- Conservation Scientist, Scenic Hudson. Special guest: Filmmaker – Jon Bowermaster. This event is FREE.
