On the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl Disaster, join the Stony Point Convergence, IPSEC, Hudson River Sloop Clearwater and antinuclear activists from across the region and the nation at an open-conference weekend: we will pool our knowledge and make plans together for a unified approach to Shutting Them Down! Bring questions, bring answers, bring your thinking cap – and let’s get working! Facilitated by Rick Ufford-Chase of SPC. Cost: Commuter rate is $90 per person, including all meals. With accommodations, $250 per person in a shared double, $350 for a single. Includes 6 meals (Friday dinner through Sunday lunch). Transportation by private car service from Newark Airport (50 miles away) is available for $50 per person one way, or participants can take NJ Transit trains from the Airport to Nanuet, N.Y. (about a two hour trip that costs $16 one way) and Stony Point Center will pick you up in Nanuet at no additional charge.
