IPSEC is welcoming back our friends from Japan with an event dedicated the ongoing crisis at Fukushima Daiichi. Presentations will start at 3 pm, followed by q & a. Fuminori Tamba will discuss the disaster and reconstruction policy. Amano Kazuhiko will discuss wide area evacuation and disaster-vulnerable populations. Naoya Sekiya will discuss the effect of rumors on losses in the crisis. Hiroshi Kainuma will discuss studying Fukushima from the perspective of overseas. Arata Owada will discuss what the disaster brought to the local community. Please bring “finger food” desserts (baked items, fruit, etc.) as well as utensils, mug and napkins. To be picked up at the White Plains MTA station, call us at 1-800-I-SHUT-IT by February 17th.
