I am writing to share the good news that today we launch the Beyond Indian Point campaign! BIP is sponsored by AGREE, Frack Action, Riverkeeper, NIRS and Food & Water Watch. I have been working on this as the Campaign Coordinator.
Many of you have heard about the campaign and the organizing done behind the scenes over the course of the last year but today we are finally launching online as we approach the shut down of Indian Point’s first reactor. This campaign came about to support the shut down of Indian Point and share the information that we have the renewables and efficiency online and coming online to more than replace Indian Point. We don’t need nukes or gas plants. Check out the new research brief from PSEHE showing the data – https://www.psehealthyenergy.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/PSE-Research-Brief_-Indian-Point-_4_6_20.pdf.
Check out the campaign and our mission at BeyondIndianPoint.com. Second, we’d love your organization to become an endorser of the campaign. You can endorse the campaign here- Endorse Beyond Indian Point.
Finally, if you can ‘Like’ our Page and Share our Video on Facebook today that would be great – https://www.facebook.com/beyondindianpoint/
