Here is a fuller description of talking points and information for the Advisory Panel meeting tomorrow that went out in an earlier alert. Thank you Renee.

Please tune in for all or part of this important meeting and forward this to any other interested person. The new law is an effort to hear all voices and make democratic choices. The Advisory Panels are how this will happen.  We were very outnumbered at the last meeting.

Dear Supporters and Allies of the Beyond Indian Point Campaign:

I hope it’s been a happy and healthy new year thus far for you all.

I wanted to drop a note to let you know about a couple upcoming events and action items with the Beyond Indian Point campaign.

1. Climate Action Council – Power Generation Panel

The Climate Action Council is holding several public engagement meetings for the various advisory panels. The Power Generation advisory panel was recently bombarded with pro nuclear comments during the public comment portion of their most recent meeting.

We need your help getting some anti-nuke (and pro 100% renewables) comments during the next panel meeting which is tomorrow, Friday, February 12th. The meeting starts at 1pm and the public comment portion is at 3:30 pm. Join for all or just the public comment section. (the next meeting after this will be February 22nd)

We have put together some talking points – feel free to just take one or two to include in your comments – https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wNbNCS7RZO-O3HY6Lab_l59eHNlZe5OhjWrBMigNTvI/edit
