The community that Jun San and other monks are part of is called Nipponzan Myohoji. They are a community group of monks and nuns who stand in support for the environment and are strongly opposed to nuclear war and use. They walk from Fukushima to Tokyo every year to support those still suffering from Fukushima. This community also engages in peace walks all over the world to stand against nuclear war and destruction of the environment.
