There has been a lot of misinformation and exaggeration about the forthcoming “mountain” of waste from aging solar panels. Here is a straight forward and economical way to deal with this aspect of solid stream waste disposal, none of which is deadly for 240 million years.

Washington state is ahead of the curve in developing recycling for solar panels. They have EPR or Expanded Producer Responsibility. They have the recycling ability built in from the beginning of every project. This is a good model every state needs to implement.
